Heitmann Busts Bresner

Robert Bresner opened to 41,000 from early position and it folded around to the blinds. The small blind called and Jan Heitmann called from the big blind.

The dealer tapped the table and the flop brought the {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts}. The blinds checked to Bresner who continued for 63,000. The small blind quickly folded but Heitmann opted to stick around. Fourth street was the {7-Spades} and Heitmann checked. Bresner instantly moved all of his chips in for a bet of roughly 220,000. Heitmann called.

"Spades?" asked Bresner.

Heitmann shook his head and showed {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a turned straight. Bresner tabled {J-Spades}{J-Clubs} and was looking for a fourth spade on the river to make a flush. The river, however, was the {A-Clubs} and he was sent to the rail, a victim of Heitmann's straight.
