Pyne Pressures Deeb

Richard Pyne
Richard Pyne

The table folded around to Shaun Deeb in the small blind who raised to 18,000. Richard Pyne, sitting to Deeb's left, checked his cards, eyed Deeb's stack, and pushed out two stacks of orange chips for a reraise to 200,000.

Deeb looked up at the ceiling, clearly not too happy about the situation. He had only 194,000 behind, and so the decision essentially was whether or not to risk his tourney life.

Finally after thinking for a half-minute Deeb let his hand go, flashing it at Pyne as he did. Pyne then turned over his cards for all to see — {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} — and scooped the pot.
