A Couple of Hands on Table 28

We just caught the action of two hands over on Table 28, with Ari Engel involved in both and Joseph Cheong involved in one.

  • We arrived at the table with a small pot building and a {4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} board on the felt. Engel was involved in the hand with one opponent and the action was Engel. He bet 5,200 and his opponent called. Engel then tabled {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, which was enough to scoop up the pot.
  • The very next hand saw Cheong open up the pot 5,000 from the hijack. The player in the small blind made the call, along with Engel in the big blind. The {j-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop was spread out on the table and the action was checked to Cheong. A bet of 7,000 was sent splashing into the pot and Cheong's opponents let go of their hands, sending the pot to Cheong.
