Selbst Loses Some

The table of death in the Blue section of the Amazon room has broken. The likes of Ben Lamb, Tom Franklin, and Vanessa Selbst have gone their separate ways to different tables. We managed to catch the action on the last hand before the table broke.

With the board reading {J-Spades} {4-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {5-Spades} , Vanessa Selbst sat motionlessly staring at the board. After some time, she finally dipped into her stack and tossed out 14,300 into the center of the table. Her opponent called and Selbst showed {A-Diamonds} {9-Spades} for nine and fives. Selbst's opponent showed {Q-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} for queens and fives and was able to take the pot from the two-time bracelet winner.
