Weisner No More

Melanie Weisner eliminated on Day 2c
Melanie Weisner eliminated on Day 2c

The last hand of Melanie Weisner's night began when a middle position player opened the pot to 3,100. Maurice Hawkins was on the button, making the call and it was at this point that Weisner shoved all in for 10,200 from the small blind. The original aggressor called and so too did Hawkins as the dealer spread out a {3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} flop.

Weisner watched on as the two players checked the flop and the dealer turned over a {q-Clubs} on the turn. This time when the play was checked to Hawkins, he bet 19,000. His opponent got out of the way and Hawkins and Weisner would turn their hands over.

Weisner: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Hawkins: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Weisner was in front at this point, but would have to dodge some heart and dodge them she did not. The {j-Hearts} river was devestating to Weisner as she made her way to the rail late here on Day 2c of the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event.
