Hellman Gets the Better of Booth Again

Erik Hellman
Erik Hellman

With a raise to 1,300 and two calls before him, Erik Hellman three-bet to 4,800 from the small blind. Only Brad Booth (from the cutoff) came along to see the {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop.

Hellman bet 4,900, Booth called, and the {6-Spades} hit the turn. Both checked to see the {7-Spades} river where Hellman bet 13,400. After about 30 seconds, Booth called.

Hellman tabled {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the nut straight, winning the pot and upping his stack to about 285,000.
