Heimann Chops Down Forrest

Gregory Heimann is one of many players still alive in the Main Event who are participating in the Onnit Last Sticker Standing Contest. The promotion awards the player sporting an Onnit sticker who lasts the longest a cool $5,000 prize. Heimann just helped his cause a bit by knocking out a tough opponent, five-time WSOP bracelet winner Ted Forrest.

Forrest began the day with a short stack, and when Heimann limped in from late position just now, Forrest took the opportunity to raise all in for his last 4,900. It folded back to Heimann who called, turning over {J-Spades}{10-Hearts} to Forrest's {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Forrest was still in front, but the {7-Diamonds} turn gave Heimann the straight, making the {J-Hearts} river no matter.
