Chan Can't Call

Ten-time bracelet winner Johnny Chan opened to 1,200 from the button and action folded around to Scott Dagle in the big blind, who made the call.

The flop came {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Dagle check-raised a 2,000 bet from Chan to 6,000. Chan tossed in a call.

Both players checked the {Q-Spades} turn, however, when the {5-Spades} completed the board, Dagle led out for a hefty 15,000 bet. Chan fell deep into the tank, rifling his chips and re-checking his cards a few times before eventually using a single chip to slide his hand into the muck.

Chan is down to 75,000 following the hit to his stack.
