Heinz Makes the Right Call

With 11,000 in the pot and a flop of {K-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, two players checked to the defending champ, Pius Heinz, who bet 3,600. The players in early position folded, while the other made the call.

Action went check-check on the {2-Clubs} turn, and then the middle-position player be 6,000. Heinz shook his head as if he didn't like it, but made the call nonetheless. Heinz's opponent was in no hurry to show and briefly flashed {Q-}{x-}, prompting Heinz to roll over {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for the winner.

"It's funny," Heinz said while stacking his chips, "Every time a card comes that I don't like, I call anyways and I'm right."
