Opposite Ends of the Scale for Eames and Lovgren
John Eames has had a fairly successful World Series of Poker so far, managing to cash four times, including a final table in Event 5: $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em. Sofia Lovgren has similarly cashed three times, including a deep run in Event 54: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em. They are seated at the same table today, but their chip stacks are currently at opposite ends of the scale.
We recently caught up with the action on the river of board and with Lovgen leading out for 2,500 into Eames. After almost a minute, Eames let his hand go and left himself with under 10,000 in chips, while Lovgren managed to move above six-figures.
