Allen Shows Once

Eric Wasserson, who recently moved to the Purple Section of the Amazon Room, raised in late position, and Jeremy Allen defended from the blinds. Allen checked before the flop fell {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{a-Spades}, and Wasserson checked behind.

The {7-Diamonds} turned, and Allen immediately fired 1,200. Wasserson called.

Before the {j-Hearts} hit the felt on the river, Allen announced, "thirty-one." He then tossed out three yellow T1,000 chips and a single black T100 chip, and Wasserson went into the tank. He eventually folded, and Allen stood up.

"I'll show ya once," he announced, tabling {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

The dealer quickly mucked his hand, and Wasserson had to ask a tablemate what it was. Allen has dipped a little since dinner break, but he's still sitting pretty with about 500 big blinds.
