Ronaldson Looking to Repeat African Success

We saw Greg Ronaldson, who you may recall won the largest tournament in Africa's history at this year's World Series of Poker Circuit stop at the Emerald Casino, sitting with a big stack of 58,000.

We asked him how he acquired it and he informed us that four players had limped to him at the 100/200 level and he raised to 1,200 from the small blind with {A-}{A-}. He received three callers, all four players checked the {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop, and the {8-Hearts} appeared on the turn.

Another player had led out for 2,000, another called, and Ronaldson made it 5,000 to go. Both his opponents made the call, and then one of then called Ronaldson's 12,000 bet on the river. The South African's aces full proved enough to win the hand, and he's looking to use his newly-won chips to tackle an even bigger field here in North America.
