Thiago Nishijima

Thiago Nishijima finished third in a $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event during the 2010 World Series of Poker, and this year he made another final table when he came 8th in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em shootout.

Today Nishijima is doing good as he knocked out former chip leader Artem Kobylynskyi. The action started with Darren Elias who raised under the gun to 8,500, and Kobylynskyi three-bet to 19,000 from middle position. Nishijima was on the button and he four-bet to 48,000. Elias folded and Kobylynskyi moved all in for 72,000. Nishijima called.

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, and Kobylynskyi was knocked out. Elias has dropped far down while Nishijima is now one of the chip leaders.
