Levy Keeps Pulling Away

Eliyahu Levy raised it up to 105,000 in the cutoff, and Tomas Junek was next to act on the button. He assembled a bet of 240,000 and stuck it in the middle. It got back to Levy, and he wasted little time in calling. Both players checked after the flop came {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, and the {k-Diamonds} hit the turn. It didn't take long for Levy to cut out a stack of 500,000, and put it into the middle. This was 1/3 of Junek's stack, so it was a big decision. After 30 seconds or so, he folded his hand, giving the pot to Levy.

Just two hands later, Levy was back at it, raising to 105,000 from under the gun. Peter Eastgate defended his big blind, and the dealer fanned out a flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Eastgate check called a bet of 150,000, and the {a-Spades} hit the turn. Both players checked, and the river was the {3-Hearts}. Levy bet 200,000 after Eastgate checked, and Eastgate went into the tank. Eventually, he reluctantly folded his hand, giving yet another pot to Levy.

After those two pots, Levy now holds over 1/3 of the chips in play.
