Cheung Ousts Petersen

Following an opening raise from middle position to 600, it folded around to Robert Cheung on the button who reraised to 1,675. The action was on Mickey Petersen in the small blind, who sat quietly for a moment, then four-bet to 2,975. The big blind folded, as did the original raiser, and Cheung called right away.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Petersen led for 2,525, and Cheung hesitated just a few seconds before calling. The turn brought the {4-Diamonds} and a check from Petersen. Cheung gathered some chips and fired a bet of 2,700, and again Petersen sat quietly and motionless for several seconds before acting. Finally he reraised all in, and Cheung quickly called.

Petersen showed {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} while Cheung turned over {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a flopped set. The river was the {Q-Diamonds}, and Petersen told Cheung "good hand" before departing.
