Laliberté Gets Dwan Talking

Tom Dwan raised it up from early position to 130,000 and Mikhail Smirnov called from the cutoff. Guy Laliberté was in the big blind and he put in the extra chips as well.

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}, and Laliberté lead out for 255,000. Dwan made the call, after which Smirov folded his cards. Heads up we went to the turn.

The turn was the {4-Spades}, and Laliberté fired out 405,000. Dwan called once more.

On the river the {7-Clubs} popped up and Laliberté threw out another 610,000 chips. At this point Dwan went into the tank and starting whistling and said he was not raising. After a while he opted to lay his hand down and Laliberté mucked his cards.

"I would've paid to see that one, but I only have $25,000 chips in my pocket," Dwan said after Laliberté started stacking his chips.

"Well, any donation helps," Laliberté said to Dwan who was left with 3.61 million chips.
