Polychronopoulos Takes Down Five Handed Pot

Rupert Elder raised to 3,200 from early position and received a call from defending champion of this event Athanasios Polychronopoulos. The player in the hijack called and the blinds tagged along as well.

The flop came down {2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and it checked to Polychronopoulos who fired 6,200 into the center. Three hands hit the muck quickly and Elder thought for a moment before becoming part of the majority by mucking his hand, allowing Polychronopoulos to take down the pot.
