Ali Eslami Busts Jeff Lisandro; Moves Into Chip Lead

We recently saw Ali Eslami scooping up a big pot that may have put him in the chip leader position. We went over to his table after the hand and asked him what happened.

According to Eslami, he opened the pot under the gun for 875 with the {a-Spades}{k-Spades}. Jeff Lisandro made it 3,500, and had more than 20,000 in chips.

Eslami called and the two players headed to the flop which fell {K-}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. On the flop, Eslami told us that he check-called a 3,800 chip bet from Lisandro.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds}, and Eslami told us that he chose to lead the turn with a 7,000 chip bet. From there, Lisandro shoved all in, and Eslami snapped him off. Lisandro was holding {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a pair and a flush draw.

"I guess he just decided to go after me with the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}," Eslami said.

The river was the {4-Spades}, and when we got to the table, Eslami was scooping up the monster pot.
