Williamson III Doubles Semin, Then Busts

Pot-Limit Omaha

When we reached Table 401, Mikhail Semin was all in and at risk against Robert Williamson III. The hands were exposed, and they looked like this:

Williamson III: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Semin: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop gave Williamson trip eights, and the lead, but the {6-Diamonds} spiked on the turn giving Semin a straight. A meaningless {6-Spades} completed the board, and Semin doubled to 16,000 chips.

Williamson III was left with just 7,000 chips, and busted soon after.
