Brown "Used Up His Run Good"

Andrew Brown and Jason Lavallee were heads up with the board reading 
. Lavallee led out, Brown raised, and Lavallee called. The turn was the 
, and Lavallee checked. Smith bet, and Lavallee called.
When the dealer pulled in Brown's bet, he noticed it was a a few green T25 chips short. Brown tossed them forward, and Lavallee made a joke about Brown shorting him.
"Oh yeah," Brown chuckled. "That's me. The angle-shooter."
Lavallee checked dark before the 
completed the board, and Brown checked behind. Lavallee tabled 
for the nut-flush, and Brown unhappily spiked 
onto the felt.
"I had you stone dead on the flop," Brown announced.
"Not stone dead," Lavallee corrected him, raking in the pot. "I still got there."
"Whatever," Brown shot back. "No breaks for me today. I used up all my run good."
Brown has had a good series - he finished second in Event 39: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha ($408,393) and eleventh in Event 32: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. ($28,862).
