Chip Leader Takes a Hit in Aces vs. Kings Confrontation

Andres Garcia returned from the dinner break as our chip leader, and it didn't take long for him to put his chips to work. In one of the first hands of Level 17, Garcia raised to 10,000 from early position and cleared the field all the way around to Antonin Teisseire in the small blind. The Frenchman squeezed out his cards and then moved all in for 62,000. Garcia made the call and the cards were turned up:

Showdown
Garcia: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}
Teisseire: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

It was a brutal aces-versus-kings situation with Garcia on top. The {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop gave Teisseire some runner-runner club hope, but the {9-Diamonds} turn took it away. Teisseire stood up from his chair and prepared to exit, which was about the time the dealer burned and put out the {K-Spades}.

Teisseire beamed a big smile after hitting his two outer, while Garcia tried to shake off the small hit to his monster stack.
