DeMaci Crippled

Jeremy Dresch raised it up to 2,200 from early position and the next person to act was Chris DeMaci who three-bet to 7,200. Dresch made the call and both players got to see the {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{K-Spades} flop.

It was here on the flop that Dresch checked and DeMaci bet out 7,000. Dresch's response was to move all in, and DeMaci made a disgruntled call and cards were tabled.

DeMaci: {A-}{k-}
Dresch: {10-}{10-}

DeMaci was in bad shape with his opponent possessing middle set, a hand that surely trumped his. There were still two cards to come and anything can happen.

The {Q-Spades} on the turn gave DeMaci a gut-shot draw. Any jack on the river would put the hand in DeMaci's favor. He received no such luck though as the {6-Spades} rolled off the deck making the set of tens the best.
