Cousineau Fills Up to Eliminate Schuler

Roch Cousineau, who began the day as the second largest stack, opened for 2,400 from middle position and then called a raise to 7,800 by Kelly Schuler, who began the hand with around 14,000.

When the flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, Schuler moved all in and Cousineau made the call. "You got a queen?" Schuler asked.

"No, I have a flush draw," was Cousineau's response.

Showdown
Cousineau: {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Schuler: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

While everyone's attention was focused on diamonds, the {J-Spades} spiked on the turn. It took a brief moment, but it soon clicked in everyone's head that Cousineau had filled up and left Schuler drawing to one out for his tournament life. Much to the latter's dismay, the {2-Diamonds} river was not what he needed and he made an early exit here on Day 2.

Likewise, both Alexander Lee and Michael Binger have been eliminated from the tournament.
