A Pot For Bloch

Omaha-8

From the button Michael Mizrachi raised and Andy Bloch defended his big blind. The flop came down {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Bloch check-raised Mizrachi's bet. Mizrachi made the call after which the turn was the {K-Diamonds}.

Both players checked and the river was the {8-Clubs}. The action was checked again, and Bloch took it down with {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

Nuts Again For Mizrachi

Level 21

No-Limit Hold'em

From the cutoff Michael Mizrachi min-raised blind thinking it was Limit Hold'em. His straddle was called by both opponents.

The flop came down {8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}, and Bloch was the only player who called Mizrachi's 75,000 chip bet.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and Bloch checked again. Mizrachi fired out 225,000 and and Bloch folded.

Mizrachi showed {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, and he had made another big hand. Too bad for him nobody wanted to give him action, but he's still in the lead.

Big One For Klodnicki

With a dead button because of Luke Schwartz's elimination it was Chris Klodnicki who raised it up to 70,000. Both Andy Bloch and Michael Mizrachi called from the blind.

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and both blinds checked to Klodnicki who bet 100,000. Mizrachi made the call, and the turn was the {A-Spades}. Both players checked.

The river was the {9-Clubs} and Mizrachi lead out for 125,000. Klodnicki wanted to play for some more, and he raised it up to 500,000. Mizrachi called.

Klodnicki showed {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and raked in this big pot.

Luke Schwartz Eliminated in 4th Place ($406,736)

Luke Schwartz - 4th Place

No-Limit Hold'em

Action moved to Chris Klodnicki in the small blind and he raised with a bunch of brown T25,000 chips to put the pressure on Luke Schwartz in the big blind. Schwartz went all in for a little bit more and Klodnicki called.

Schwartz showed the {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and was dominating the {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for Klodnicki. Schwartz popped out of his chair again and hugged the dealer with one arm. He also kissed the dealer on the top of his head and pleaded for a board in his favor.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Schwartz stayed in front, although there was now a very good chance this pot was going to be chopped.

The turn brought the {5-Diamonds} and now Schwartz pleaded, "Just put a card lower than a five! Anything but a six!"

The river was exactly what Schwartz didn't want to see as the {6-Clubs} landed on the river. Schwartz's hands were flung up in the air as he knew the worst had happened and he was eliminated.

For his finish, Schwartz took home just over $400,000 in prize money, leaving three players left for the title.

Schwartz showed the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and was up against the {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for Schwartz. While he was all in, Schwartz jumped up and went on the other side of the dealer, putting one arm around the dealer and asking him to keep it clean.

The flop, turn and river came {J-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and Schwartz doubled to over 500,000. Klodnicki dropped back to 4.2 million in chips.

Roland Israelashvili - 5th Place

2-7 Triple Draw

From the cutoff Roland Israelashvili raised all in for just 111,000 and both Andy Bloch and Michael Mizrachi called from the blinds.

Bloch wanted two cards, Mizrachi three and Israelashvili took two. Bloch and Mizrachi opted to check.

On the second draw both blinds took two cards again, while Israelashvili only needed one. Again the action was checked.

On the final draw both blinds took one card and Israelashvili, who was at risk, stood pat. Again the action was checked.

Israelashvili turned over {J-}{8-}{6-}{4-}{2-}, but that was no good against Bloch's {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Israelashvili shook everyones hand and left the tournament area as we are now down to just four players! This fifth place finish marks Israelashvili biggest career cash.
