Barbero Battles Bloch
Omaha-8
Much has been documented about Andy Bloch finally winning his first bracelet this summer and we are sure he will be looking to win his second very soon. He's still in contention today, but recently lost a small pot to Nacho Barbero.
The hand in question began when Barbero opened up the pot with a raise from under the gun. The player in the small blind made the call, along with Bloch in the big blind.
The flop would see the small blind check, Bloch bet and then Barbero raise. The small blind got out of the way and Bloch called. When the was dealt on the turn, Bloch checked and Barbero bet. It took Bloch quite some time to make his decision, but he eventually opted to fold, sending the pot to Barbero.
While this was only a small pot, Barbero has managed to see his chip stack sit quite healthy during these early stages of the day.
