Chan Chasing Another Cash
Level 8
: 500/1,000, 0 ante
Terrence Chan — he of the whopping seven cashes already at this summer's WSOP — has been steadily chipping up all day. Just now he was involved in a hand which resulted in another addition to his stack.
After a player in the cutoff raised, Chan three-bet from the small blind, forcing a fold from his neighbor and fellow Vancouverite Dan Idema, yet another player in our field who possesses a limit hold'em bracelet (2011, $10,000 LHE).
Chan's opponent called the reraise, then called again when Chan bet the flop. Chan bet once more following the turn. This time his opponent raised and Chan called. Both then checked the river, and when Chan tabled for queens, his opponent mucked.
Chan is up around 37,000 now.
