Chad Chips Up

Level 7 : 400/800, 0 ante

A player on the button raised, then Chad Brown three-bet from the small blind. Brown's fellow Team PokerStars Pro Andre Akkari called in the big blind, and the original raiser called as well.

The flop came monotone — {4-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} — and Brown bet. Akkari let his hand go, but Brown's other opponent raised. Brown paused a moment, then called. The turn then brought the {5-Spades}, and Brown led with a bet which his opponent just called this time. The river was the {8-Clubs}, and again it went bet-call.

Brown tabled {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for queens, and his opponent mucked. Brown is up to about 32,000 now. Meanwhile Akkari, who had been atop the counts earlier in the day, now sits with about 24,000.
