Jack the Lad Andrulis

Kristijonas Andrulis is storming up the chip counts today, helped a lot by getting three streets of value versus an opponent.

He raised from under the gun and emptied the clip on a {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Clubs} board. Two players called pre flop but only Dwight Farrell called all the way. He then mucked when Andrulis opened {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Smith Loses Some

When we arrived at Dan Smith's table, there was a {5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop showing and over 30,000 already in the pot. Smith and his one opponent both checked on the flop and then both checked the {a-Hearts} turn. When the {q-Spades} hit the river, Smith's opponent immediately shoved all in for around 60,000. Smith thought for quite some time before he decided to let his hand go.

Tabb Paid Off

Anthony Minniti was on the button and had 4,000 out in front of him. Steven Tabb was in the big blind and had 9,200 out in front of him. There was already a pile of chips in the middle and the indications were that a a third player had opened the pot with a raise before Minniti called on the button. Tabb then probably squeezed for 9,200 more and Minniti called after the other player folded.

The flop fell {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts} anf Tabb led for 17,500. Call. Both players checked the {8-Diamonds} turn before Tabb checked on the {k-Clubs} river to face a 30,000 bet from Minniti.

"God damn," vented Tabb. He tank-called and was shown {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for straight by Minniti. fold.

Collopy Doubles a Shorty

The short-stacked player on Jim Collopy's left opened up the action by shoving his stack all in. It was a total of 2,800 and Collopy raised it up to 6,600 on his left. The whole table got out of the way and the two players turned their hands over.

Collopy: {7-}{7-}
All-in player: {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

By the time the board had run out {2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, it was looking like Collopy was going to send the player home, however the {k-Spades} river had other ideas as the player doubled up.
