Triple Draw Spells the End to Gregorich's Day

2-7 Triple Draw:

Jerrod Ankenman, Mark Gregorich and Tim Burt all put in 16,000 before the first draw and proceeded to take one, two, and two respectively. Ankenman, who won this event in 2009, then bet, Gregorich moved all in for 7,400 and Burt called. Not to be deterred, Ankenman three-bet it to 11,400 total and Burt called.

Each player drew another card and Ankenman bet again, which Burt called. This time Ankenman stood pat while Gregorich and Burt each drew one. Ankenman bet for a third time at the end, which inspired Burt to fold.

Ankenman rolled over {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}, while Gregorich just flashed the {K-Clubs}, mucked, and then took his leave in 35th place, good for $5,599.

Meanwhile, Kyle Bowker followed Gregorich out the door in 34th place.
