Anderson Flops a Set of Aces to Eliminate Schwartz

Ylon Schwartz
Ylon Schwartz

Pot Limit Omaha:

A short-stacked Ylon Schwatz got his chips all in preflop and was up against Calvin Anderson.

Showdown
Schwartz: {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Anderson: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

"They're not good aces," Anderson said in reference to the cards accompanying his pocket rockets. With that said, they became great aces when the flop fell {10-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{A-Hearts} and delivered him a set. The {9-Clubs} turn gave Schwartz a set as well, but he needed more. Unfortunately for him, the {3-Spades} river was not what he was looking for and he was eliminated from the tournament.
