Kenney Having Fun in Razz

Razz

Bryn Kenney{x-}{x-} / {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{x-}
Opponent{x-}{x-} / {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{6-Spades}{J-Hearts}{x-}

We caught the action on fifth street when Bryn Kenney bet and his opponent, who had a king-low as best possible hand, decided to raise. The players at the table started laughing and Kenney made the call. On sixth Kenney caught the {9-Clubs} and lead out again.

"In a cash game I would raise now, but now it's barely a call," Kenney's opponent said while the whole table started laughing again.

"He's telling the truth," Eli Elezra added with a smile, after which the player called.

Seventh street got dealt and Kenney checked.

"Paint, it's another paint," Kenney's opponent said who flashed a {J-}. Kenney showed {4-}{4-}{J-} and took down this pot.

"You started with a jack?" Elezra asked Kenny who laughed and said, "No, with a pair of fours," and this cracked up everyone at the table once again.

"So when he raised with the king he had the best hand," Scott Seiver said as everyone was enjoying this little banter. "We should just play two for one in Razz," Seiver added as he thought it was a good idea to play twice as many Razz hands. With the amount of fun the players are having that sounds like a good idea.
