Simon Lam Eliminated in 13th Place ($10,219)

No-Limit Hold'em

On the next hand after he doubled through Simon Lam, Salman Behbehani got the rest of Lam's chips and here's how it happened.

James Dempsey opened the pot with a raise to 10,000 from the hijack seat. Action folded over to Lam in the small blind and he reraised all in for slightly more than 70,000. Behbehani was in the big blind and made the call. Dempsey folded.

Behbehani tabled the {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and was up against the {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for Lam. On the {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop, Lam picked up an open-ended straight draw, but the {3-Spades} turn card and {5-Clubs} river card gave him no help.

Lam was eliminated in 13th place for $10,210 and the field dropped down to 12 players.
