With 55 players left and 42 players getting paid, we are slowly creeping towards the business end of this tournament. With that in mind let us bring you some news as we find ourselves at the midway point of Level 12.
Dan Shak has just lost a pot and then won a pot to leave him on 110,000. In the first hand Jon Hoellein raised to 3,200 in first position and Shak defended his big blind. The action was checked through to the river on a board of and Hoellein extracted a small 5,000 value bet from Shak.

Then Shak doubled through Jonas Entin. The dealer was far too quick for us but we know Shak has 110,000 and Entin is down to 220,000.
In other news Bryn Kenney has been eliminated. Rory Matthews raised to 3,200 in the cutoff, Bryn Kenney three-bet to 13,900 and Mathews made the call. The flop was and both players decided to get it in.

A great flop for Mathews, but it drew a 'what are you doing here anyway' look from Kenney. The turn was the and river and Mathews doubled up. Kenney was left with around 13,000 and a head that was shaking from side to side.
A few hands later and Hans Winzeler put Kenney out of his misery but we didn't see the final hand.
