Welcome to Event#33 $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em
The $1,000 World Series of Poker (WSOP) events are the ones where dreams can come true. Last year saw 3,144 entries and the eventual winner was Markus Schmid, who took home $488,283 and a WSOP gold bracelet. The win dwarfed Schmid's previous best of $5,620 earned in a WSOP event during 2010. Schmid is alive and well and has already had two cashes so far this series in Event #16 & 19 respectively.
Event #33 is a 3-day event and today is Day 1. Our schedule consists of eleven-sixty minute levels. There will be a twenty-minute break after every 2-levels and a ninety-minute dinner break at the end of level 6. Will another Markus Schmidt step up to the plate and have the WSOP of their lives? Find out by joining PokerNews for all of the action.
We start at 12:00 PM live and direct from the Brasilia room in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.
