Waxman Loses Late One

Omaha 8

Folded to Matt Waxman on the button, he raised it up. David Bach then three-bet from the small blind. Waxman called and a {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop hit the felt. Bach led on the flop and Waxman rasied. A call from Bach and a {4-Diamonds} would land on the turn. Bach opted to check-call here and a {3-Spades} completed the board on the river. Bach again checked on the river and Waxman checked behind.

Bach tabled his {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, which was good enough to scoop the pot and send Waxman's cards into the muck.
