Omaha 8

Just as the dealer was finished burning, Hellmuth announced a check. The {J-Clubs} landed on the turn and both players checked. The river was the {Q-Diamonds} and Hellmuth check-called a bet from Ivey.

Hellmuth turned over the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for the ace-high flush and Ivey mucked his hand.

Abe Mosseri & David "Bakes" Baker
Abe Mosseri & David "Bakes" Baker

Abe Mosseri barely had a leg to stand on when he got his stack all-in during a round of Omaha Eight-or-Better. It was against David Bakes Baker, who opened up the hand in question with a raise from under the gun. Mosseri was in the big blind and committed his last chips, with the two players turning their hands over.

Mosseri: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Baker: {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}

The {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Spades} board was no help to Mosseri, with Baker managing to scoop up the pot to send Mosseri home in 6th place for a $75,511 score.

Omaha 8

In middle position, Abe Mosseri raised it up and only Phil Ivey in the small blind made the call. The {3-Hearts}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop would see IVey lead and Mosseri call. Mosseri: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
