Guillen Crippled

Action folded around to Angel Guillen on the button and he made it 2,500 to go. The big blind three-bet all in over the top for 25,200 total and the short-stack big blinded decided to ship in his stack of 6,000 as well.

Action came back to Guillen and he sat pondering for over a minute. He eventually dropped the chips in the middle and the three hands were tabled:

Guillen: {A-Spades}{j-Spades}
Small Blind: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Big Blind: {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The dealer spread out a wonderful flop for Guillen, showing {3-Spades}{9-Spades}{J-Clubs}, giving him top pair and four to the flush. The turn paired the board, bringing the {9-Clubs}.

And then came the river that caused all three players to get there. The {8-Spades}. The big blind made his straight and Guillen made his flush, but it was the player in the small blind benefited most, making his full house on the river.

After that hand Guillen was crippled, his stack now sitting at 5,700.
