Gearing Up For The Big One

Mike Sexton, who recently announced that he will be playing the $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop next month, is building a nice stack here on Day 1. Sexton just took down a nice pot in the Limit Hold'em round to surpass the 8,000 mark.
A player in the cutoff raised preflop and Sexton called from the big blind. Sexton checked-called the 
flop and then both players checked through the 
turn. When the 
hit the river, Sexton bet 600 and got a reluctant call from his opponent. Sexton tabled 
for two pair, and hit opponent mucked.
