Igor Sharaskin Eliminates Nam Le

Talking about flopping the world!

Nam Le and Igor Sharaskin just played for stacks on a flop of {8-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {3-Hearts}. Le was holding {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {4-Clubs} for the nut flush draw and open ended straight draw, and Sharaskin was holding {A-Spades} {8-Spades} {6-Hearts} {5-Clubs} for top two pair. But despite Sharaskin having the best hand at that time, Le was actually the favourite. Le did hit one of his outs when the {7-Spades} hit the turn but the cruel {8-Clubs} on the river gave Sharaskin eights-full and Le was out.

Igor Sharaskin has cashed in 3 World Series of Poker (WSOP) events including 2 Pot-Limit Omaha events in last years series recording an impressive 4th place in the $1,500 Hi/Lo version for $42,870.
