Farha in the Building; Busts Traniello

Sammy Farha has finally taken to an event at the 2012 World Series of Poker and he's stated off on the right foot.

With the flop of {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs} in the middle of the felt, Marco Traniello was all in holding the {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Farha held the {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and gave Traniello a set of eights to keep him in front. The river was the {4-Clubs} and Farha made a club flush to eliminate Traniello from the tournament.

With that pot, Farha moved to 20,000 in chips.

Farha is widely considered as one of the best Omaha players in the world. His three WSOP gold bracelets all come from the game, with one in Pot-Limit Omaha and two in Omaha Hi-Low. Farha won his third bracelet in 2010 in the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Low Championship for $488,241. In 2006 he won his second bracelet and $398,560 in the $5,000 Omaha Hi-Low event and his first came in 1996 when he won the $2,500 Pot-Limit Omaha event for $145,000.
