Kursevich Doubles Back

Just one hand after the epic one that went down where he doubled up Austin Scott, Vadzim Kursevich was all in preflop for 225,000 with the {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. He was up against Scott holding the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

The flop, turn and river ran out {J-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Scott returned the favor of doubling up Kursevich.

Scott Doubles In Spectacular Hand

Scott Stanko limped in from under the gun and Austin Scott limped on the button. Vadzim Kursevich completed from the small blind and then Brett Richey checked from the big blind. All four players took a {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and all four players checked.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and what we thought was an innocent family pot all of a sudden exploded. Kursevich and Richey checked before Stanko bet 110,000. Scott then made it 400,000 to go and Kursevich reraised the pot. Richey folded, as did Stanko. Scott called all in for 1.735 million and just like that it was on.

Kursevich had flopped top set with the {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Scott had nailed the turn with the {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} by hitting the case ten.

The river completed the board with the {5-Spades} and Scott's full house, tens over fives, was the winning hand to give him the massive double up.

Brett Richey raised to 120,000 from the small blind and Khiem Nguyen reraised all in for 355,000 from the big blind. Richey called and once again tabled two aces with the {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Nguyen held the {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades}{K-Spades} and Richey's hand held up. He busted Nguyen in fifth place, who earned $83,180 for his finish. Richey has moved to over a million in chips.
