Down Again

The action started off with a raise from Joe Cassidy who was on the button. Phil Ivey was in the big blind, and he put in the three-bet after which both his opponents called.

The flop came down {J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, and Ivey bet, Nguyen raised, Cassidy called and Ivey put in another raise. Both Nguyen and Cassidy called. The turn was the {A-Spades} and this time Ivey checked. Nguyen bet and both Cassidy and Ivey called. On the river the {K-Spades} popped up and the same process was repeated.

Nguyen showed {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a wheel and the nut low while Cassidy had {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a broadway straight. Ivey mucked his cards and is back down to just 310,000 chips.
