Ryan Lenaghan Eliminated in 9th Place ($26,940)

Ryan Lenaghan
Ryan Lenaghan

We just lost the first player at the final table as Ryan Lenaghan couldn't win his first all in at this table. Lenaghan started off the action by raising from middle position and both Gregory Jamison, in the hijack, and Phil Ivey, in the big blind, called.

The flop came down {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Ivey checked. Lenaghan put out his final 12,000 chips after which Jamison gave him some protection by raising it up to 27,000. Ivey folded and we got to see a heads up showdown.

Gregory Jamison{A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Ryan Lenaghan{A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

The turn was the {Q-Hearts} and the river the {5-Clubs} giving Jamison the pot with a broadway straight. Lenaghan said goodbye to his chips and left the final table area. He will walk home with $26,940 while we play on with just eight players.
