Matt Lefkowitz Eliminated in 24th Place ($10,348)

Matt Lefkowitz
Matt Lefkowitz

Matt Lefkowitz was short with just 20,500 chips when he opted to raise from the hijack to 12,000. Viacheslav Zhukov, the winner of this event last year, was to his left and three-bet right away. Brian Hastings called from the small blind and Jeremy Harkin made the call from the big blind.

The action was back on Lefkowitz who put his final chips into the pot and his three opponent made the call.

On a {3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs} board the hand got checked down and everyone was surprised when Harkin won the pot with just {5-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a small full house. Lefkowitz got his payout ticket and we are down to 23 players.
