Kelly Takes Control, Pezzin Goes Home

Under unknown circumstances Pat Pezzin got crippled and we just saw him bust out in a hand where Ben Yu also took a big hit. The winner was Dan Kelly who takes a commanding lead over the rest of the field with just 50 players remaining.

Yu opened up the action with a raise to 6,000 and Kelly called in the seat next to him. Pat Pezzin called all in from the small blind for just 3,000 and Ashly Butler called the extra chips from the big blind.

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Yu bet 3,000 after which Kelly immediately raised. Butler folded and Yu called.

On the turn the {9-Clubs} showed up and Yu check-called 6,000. The same process got repeated on the river when the {6-Clubs} popped up and Kelly said, "Boat". He turned over {6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and he took down the entire pot busting Pezzin and knocking Yu down to just a couple of big bets.
