Big One For Bellande

Jean-Robert Bellande
Jean-Robert Bellande

Jean-Robert Bellande announced last week that he will be playing in the One Million Drop event and he's doing pretty well in this event so far.

We just saw Scott Bohlman limp after which Bellande made it 3,000 to go from the cutoff. Elie Doft called from the button and Bohlman also proceeded to make the call.

The flop came down {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Bohlman checked to Bellande who bet, Doft folded and Bohlman check-raised. Bellande called and the turn was the {9-Hearts}. Bohlman bet 3,000 and Bellande put out 6,000 after which we saw heads up river action.

The river was the {2-Spades} and Bellande saw another one of his bets getting called. "That was just an unreal board for my hand," Bellande said as he turned over his {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades} for a full house. On the turn Bellande also had the nut flush and nut low draw but he didn't need those in order to win this pot. Bellande is up to 84,000 chips and doing very well.

Bohlman, on the other hand, has taken a hit down to about 15,000.
