Another Break

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

The three remaining players have been sent on a 20-minute break. Jeff Shulman just raked in a small pot right before the break and we will have a full count update for you shortly. For your information, the 1,000-denomination chips are being taken out of the tournament and colored up.

Win Some, Lose Some

Jeff Shulman has lost a portion of the stack he rebuilt and this is how it went down. Folded to Benjamin Scholl in the small blind, he raised it up. Shulman called out of the big blind and the dealer spread out a {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop. Both players checked here and a {3-Spades} landed on the turn. Scholl opted to check-call a bet from Shulman on the turn and the {5-Hearts} hit the river. This time Scholl check-raised and Shulman called. Shulman then mucked when Scholl tabled {q-Spades}{8-Spades} for a turned flush.

Shulman Wins Big One

Jeff Shulman is right back in this, with a large pot going the way of his stack, courtesy of Andrew Prock. It started with Shulman raising on the button. Prock then three-bet in the small blind and Shulman called as a {6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop was dealt on the felt.

On the flop, Prock bet and Shulman raised it up. Prock called and then both players checked the {5-Spades} turn. The {6-Spades} river and Prock would lead out with a bet. Shulman promptly put in an extra bet and after some thought, Prock made the call. Shulman tabled his {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, with his trip sixes enough to rake in the pot.

Go Home, No Wait, Stay

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

When Jeff Shulman was all-in for his last chips holding {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} on a {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}. he would be well ahead of Benjamin Scholl's {k-Spades}{3-Clubs}. However when a {2-Clubs} landed on the turn, Shulman got out of his chair and was ready to leave, with Scholl making a wheel. When the dealer peeled off a {3-Spades} on the river, Shulman sat right back down as a wheel on the board meant it was a chopped pot to keep Shulman alive.

Shulman Struggles

Jeff Shulman is down to just a few big bets, with another pot going in the opposite direction of his stack. The hand started with Shulman raising the button. Benjamin Scholl called in the big blind and the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop was dealt on the felt. Scholl checked here and Shulman bet. Scholl made the call and a {q-Spades} hit the turn. Both players checked here and a {9-Diamonds} landed on the river. This time when Scholl bet, Shulman tank folded, leaving himself with just a few big bets.
