Hellmuth & Brown

Phil Hellmuth has just moved his experienced bottom onto the same table as Team PokerStars Pro Chad Brown. He is looking serious. The shades are off and the spectacles are on. He is sat on a stack of around 11,000 and here are a few hands from his table.

There was a limp from first position, Brown called in the small blind and the big blind checked his option. The flop was {J-Hearts} {7-Spades} {6-Clubs} and both blinds checked to the under the gun limper, who bet 700. Brown made the call, the big blind folded and the dealer handed the pair the {K-Clubs} on the turn. Both players checked the turn and the river card was the {7-Clubs}. Brown bet 1,500 and the under the gun limper folded handing Brown the pot.

Phil Hellmuth raised to 900 in the cutoff and the big blind called. The flop was {10-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {9-Clubs} and a 1,200 Hellmuth c-bet took down the pot.
