Lehavot Loses One

We don't know exactly how the action went, but Amir Lehavot was in a heated pot preflop, that ended with Lehavot's opponent all in and at risk.

Lehavot: {A-}{Q-}
Opponent: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The dealer then spread a {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} flop giving Lehavot a pair of aces, but it was his opponent's set of eights that held the lead. After the {7-Clubs} planted on the turn, Lehavot found himself with a potential out. Now he could hit an ace and steal this pot away. Unfortunately for him a {5-Hearts} fell on the river and Lehavot had no claim on the 120,000 pot.

Lehavot, who is no stranger to deep runs in tournaments, won 2011's Event 7: $10,000 Pot-Limit Hold'em Championship. Even though he just lost a hand, he still possesses enough chips to pursue poker glory.

Stout Out

Matt Stout (Event 17)
Matt Stout (Event 17)

Over at Table 435 action folded around to Matt Stout on the button, who made it 15,000. The small blind then moved all in, a bet that would put Stout all in. The big blind folded and Stout took a few moments before completing the call and putting all of his chips at risk.

Stout: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}

A {5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop spelled disaster for Stout as he new he would need running cards to steal this hand away. A {j-Hearts} on the turn was it, and Stout was drawing dead. A meaningless {9-Clubs} fell for the river as Stout was eliminated.

The players are now on a 20-minute break. The black T100 chips will be colored up and race off during this break.

Blenkarn Loses One

After a short stack moved all in for 19,000 from under the gun action folded around to Jeff Blenkarn who took a few seconds before moving all in.

Blenkarn: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Opponent: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

A {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop brought a reversal of place with Blenkarn's opponent taking a stranglehold on the hand. Blenkarn was going to need a king or running straight cards to take control back in the hand. He received no such luck as the board ran out {4-Spades} and the {4-Diamonds}. Blenkarn now sits around 50,000.
