Landfish Surrenders to Ivey

Phil Ivey opened with a pot-raise to 35,000 in the cutoff, and Steve Landfish called on the button.

Ivey checked the {4-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {K-Diamonds} flop, and Landfish took his cue to bet 45,000. It appears he fell right into Ivey's trap, though, as the check-shove came quickly. It was 69,000 total, and Ivey certainly expected to get an instant call. But that call didn't come instantly or even eventually. In fact, it never came. Landfish could not match the bet, and he surrendered to let Ivey chip his way back into the mix.
